Officiating toolkit

They may not be the ones lifting the trophies, but without them, there would be no trophies to lift. That's why we are launching a campaign to raise awareness of the critical role officials play to enable sport in Australia.

The campaign aims to show officials as strong, proud and confident. After all, they are the biggest team in Aussie sport. According to AusPlay research, there are around 1 million Australians officiating in sport every year. It’s time to give them the recognition they deserve and encourage more Australians to share the load and join The Officials.

Our primary call to action is to sign up for the Community Officiating Essential Skills Course on the Australian Sport Learning Centre. We are also raising awareness of the Modern Approach to Officiating and aiming to help you recruit officials into your sport.

We have developed a suite of resources and templates you can tailor with images from your sport. Please link your promotions to the officiating course (preferred), the Community Officiating webpage on the ASC website or your 'Become an Official' webpage.

Together we can help more Australians become officials and join the biggest team in Aussie sports.
