• Coles healthy kicks - Combining foundational footy fitness with creative play, mindfulness, and nutrition, the program delivers a holistic and highly entertaining weekly program.

• AFL Sport Education – This curriculum-based program enables students to develop their skills as players as well as learning off-field roles such as umpiring, team & facility management and coaching
• AFL Lesson Ideas – AFL themed lesson ideas linked to the curriculum in various key learning areas
• AFL Record – ideas on how to utilise the AFL Record to achieve numeracy & literacy outcomes
• Footy Stats – the Australian Bureau of Statistics in partnership with the AFL have developed a program that uses football to improve student’s statistical literacy
• AFL 9s lesson plans – Playing for Life activity lesson plans with video link
• 40 ways to get your footy fix during the shutdown period – An article that provides tips and tricks for playing AFL at home

Baseball Australia’s resources provide teachers with a series of exciting activities that introduce students to baseball and t-ball in a safe and fun environment

• NSW Coach Education – NSW Coach Education have created a Coach Education YouTube Channel containing tutorials, clips and demonstrations on all facets of the game that members can access.
• Baseball5 training manual – Provides teachers with games and lesson plans to build up the skills used in Baseball5 games.
• Aussie T-Ball manual – The Aussie T-Ball manual outlines lesson plans, rules, and positions.

Basketball Australia’s Aussie Hoops program has developed activities to keep students engaged with basketball while at home.

• Home-based activities – Seven home-based activities to keep students engaged and entertained
• #HomeCourtChallenge – Share your best trick shot on Instagram by using the hashtag #HomeCourtChallenge and tagging @basketballaus

Get ideas on how students can participate in bowls at home with Bowls Australia’s #StayAtHome challenge. Follow the challenge on the Bowls Australia YouTube channel or submit your video on social media using the hashtag #StayAtHome and tagging @BowlsAustralia .

Cricket Australia are committed to getting kids active and as a result, we have created multiple remote learning programs & resources, all of which are free for parents and teachers. These programs are designed to make learning from home fun!

Remote Learning Program - This HPE Guide is free to download, and will allow Parents or Teachers to run a HPE program at home. Includes instant activities, success badges, links to videos and much more!

Anywhere Blast - Anywhere Cricket Blast is a FREE program that has been designed to keep kids engaged and involved in cricket during these challenging COVID times. This program provides flexible options for kids to participate in a simple “at-home” cricket experience.

Cycling Australia have developed a range of resources to keep students physically active while at home.

• Learn to ride online – Ride Nation have created an online video learning program that will take you and your child through all the skills to learn to ride a bike. The program costs approximately $35.
• Free resources for students – Explore tips, tricks, and hacks.
• Australian Cycling Team’s 30 from 30 – A host of current Australian Cycling Team members, coaches and staff, plus former Australian Cycling Team athletes, will take you behind the scenes to show you some of the unique and different ways to keep healthy and active. Equestrian Australia’s Ready Set Trot program has free resources available to keep students active and engaged. These resources include easy lesson plans and activities to reinforce horse knowledge and are suitable for ages 4-7, 8-10 and 11-12 years.

• Ready Set Trot Playground Skills – Ready Set Trot Playground Skills is a fun and interactive program that provides young people with an introduction to horses through a series of free games and activities – without needing a horse!

Football Federation Australia, Member Federations and Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League are offering all Australian primary schools a complimentary digital resource to bring football to the classroom. The workbook is a fun, digital and interactive resource to ensure Australian schools, teachers and students are still getting their football fix.

The Schools Football Workbook includes the following key areas:

• Active via Sport Australia Physical Literacy Framework
• Experience through the standardised MiniRoos Schools Program
• Transition by educating schools students on their local clubs and the partnership with Member Federations

• Football Skills Hub – The Football Skills Hub includes activities, skills and videos to help students progress through the varying difficulty levels of core football skills.
• #PlayAtHomeChallenge - Whether it’s in the back yard, in a quiet field or in a safe place at home, Football Federation Australia want you to join their #PlayAtHomeChallenge. Each week they will post a new skill to master on their social media channels.

• MyGolf Primary Manual and Secondary Golf Manual: These manuals promote the engagement of primary and secondary aged children in physical activity and exercise with golf specific activities that are simple to follow and require minimal space and easy to come by equipment. The activities are constructed around skill development through games-based discovery and will ensure school aged children can continue to develop their motor skills whilst also facilitating daily exercise.
• #golfathome: check out all of the creative ways people from all around the world are playing. #golfathome by searching #golfathome on Instagram. If you'd like to share any pictures or videos of you or your kids getting inventive with your golf activities at home, make sure you hashtag #golfathome and #golfaust.
• Online learning for parents and teachers: Want to help keep the kids busy and active home but don’t know much about golf? This short and sweet online interactive module is available to provide you with the skills, knowledge and resources to deliver some engaging golf games and activities, and you can even become an accredited instructor to deliver beginner programs in golf clubs when life returns to normal.

Gymnastics Australia have developed a range of resources to assist parents and teachers to keep students physically active while at home.

• Move My Way – Gymnastics Victoria and Vic Health have developed a physical activity program that gives you the option to move when and where you move.
• Training athletes at home fact sheet – The fact sheet provides advice on suggested at-home activities and training requirements.

Get ideas on how students can participate in hockey at home with Hockey Australia’s #HockeyAtHome challenge and Hookin2Hockey handbook.

• #HockeyAtHome – Hockey Australia is producing a series of daily unique hockey video content aimed at helping you and your family keep healthy, active, engaged and entertained.
• Hookin2Hockey handbook – The handbook outlines suggested lesson plans, skills training, and hockey journey.

NRL have created  online resources to assist parents and teachers keep students active while at home, including:

• League Stars Backyard – A range of activities enabling students to be a League Star in their own backyard
• Club Rugby League at Home – A range of activities for Club Rugby League Participants
• Teacher resources – A range of in-classroom resources for teachers

Developed by Snow Australia, SnowActive has been designed to deliver a fun and interactive ski and snowboard fitness program aimed at people of all ages and abilities.

Hosted by 2 x Olympian Sami Kennedy-Sim, SnowActive is a 30-minute strength and fitness workout you can do from home. With new sessions each week, this free and accessible training program is great for the whole family to remain active and ready for the snow.

Softball Australia has online resources available for teachers and students to utilise while in lock down.

The Softball Batter Up website has over 65 games that kids can play (with videos) if you are looking to get them active while staying at home. Teachers can also learn about modified games and activities that are great for teaching fundamental motor skills once back at school.

Teachers can use the My-Courses section of the Softball Batter Up website to access online softball coaching courses. The Softball Batter Up Coaching Induction, which is a requirement for teachers to complete if they plan to deliver softball through Sporting Schools once play resumes, may be particularly useful.

Squash Australia’s new video series, Street Squash, is squash anywhere, anytime, any skill level and all you need is a wall, a ball and a racquet! Follow Squash Australia’s social media channels or visit their website to watch Street Squash.

Water Safety@Home

Life Saving Victoria have developed a new ‘Water Safety @Home’ online activity suite, to provide schools, industry and the community with interactive virtual resources to encourage the continuation of swimming and water safety education during the COVID-19 period. These activities include new:

• CPR and First Aid for Kids @Home
• Swimming @Home
• Nippers @Home
• Water Safety Watch & Learn video series

To assist parents and teachers in keeping children engaged in physical activity, Table Tennis Australia have developed a Home Guide that contains fun activities and training tips, all of which can be played at home with limited space - all that's required is a bat and a ball!

Whether you have all the equipment like the professionals, or a dining room table and some books, you can create your very own set up at home. If you would like to purchase equipment such as bats, balls, retractable nets or tables, visit the Table Tennis Australia website.

Tennis Australia has a range of resources available to assist teachers with the delivery of health and physical education and activity via distance learning or at school. Parents are also encouraged to ensure their child(ren) are meeting the recommended 60 minutes of physical activity per day. Parents are able to contact their local tennis coach for ideas to use at home of by following the Tennis Australia social accounts.

The teaching resources located below can accessed via the Tennis Australia online learning platform ‘Bounce”. The platform is free and teachers are able to create an account with their education email for approval if they do not have an existing account.

• HomeCourtTennis: Content to support teachers with the delivery of HPE at home. Students are encouraged to use their imagination, creativity and problem solving to make tennis accessible regardless of their environment. Video resources, supporting material and off court activities are available for teachers to access.
• Tennis for Primary and Secondary Schools Curriculum resource: Lesson plans and activities supporting bands Foundation to 6 and bands 7-10. Aligned to the Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education (AC:HPE). Teachers can also order a hard copy of the resource for free by becoming a Teacher Ambassador
• Tennis for Primary and Secondary Schools online workshop: Unpacking the Tennis for Primary Schools and Tennis for Secondary Schools resources and how Tennis addresses the student achievement standards. The primary workshop includes assessment ideas and how to make tennis more inclusive using the Game Sense Approach. The secondary workshop explores the three pillars of the program and assessment ideas.
• INtennisCITY: An interactive platform making it easy to run competitions, set challenges and engage students in playing tennis games. Through the website and app students can challenge each other to a ‘quick match’, track their progress and improve their skills by playing along with Milos Raonic in a series of fun videos.
