Students at <<insert name of school>> have been receiving a great introduction to sport through the Australian Sports Commission’s Sporting Schools Program, physical education classes and other programs. Help your children take the next step and play club sport.
Sport helps children make friends, develop new skills, build confidence and improve their fitness. It can also help children learn about teamwork and how to win and lose gracefully. Most importantly, studies show that children who participate in sport are happier, so start exploring the many sporting options available.
The Australian Sports Commission has partnered with more than 35 national sporting organisations who offer quality sport programs for beginners and social players, right through to more structured competitions for children with a strong competitive spirit.

Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children's participation in sport and connect them with community sport opportunities.
The full page ads below can be dropped into school newsletters or printed and used as posters, flyers or notices on your bulletin board.
Tell parents about all the sporting opportunities you are providing for students and encourage them to take the next step and play club sport.
Use or adapt the messages below and deliver them through your preferred channels, such as SMS, app, assembly message, parent teacher interview or parent information night.
